You are invited to the Shire of Windkeep Some-Thing on April 5, 2008.

The Household of the Twisted Spoon will be preparing a donation lunch.

 There will be tables provided for arts & sciences display.  Those who wish to include documentation may compete for a prize.  Space will also be available for those who wish just to exhibit.

 Classes for the afternoon currently include:
   
Middle-Eastern Dancing for the Terminally Shy – Mistress Brianna
   
Basic Middle-Eastern Clothing – Lady Kalidah
    Struck Coins – Lord William de Kari
    Gardening – Mistress Thorhalla
    Fighting with Honor discussion – Duke Olaf
   
and possibly a heraldic consulting table…

 Also, various board games will be available in the hall throughout the day.

 

 There will be 66 seats available for the feast.  A paid reservation will guarantee your seat.

 The event cook has proposed a menu with a little something for everyone:

First remove: Bread, cheese, nuts, olives, boiled eggs, onion soup
Second remove: Loin of pork, carrots, millet
Third remove: Great pies of beef and chicken, turnips armored with cheese

Questions regarding feast may be directed to the Cook.

 Alcohol is available only through the cash bar on site.

 

After feast, among whatever more refined entertainments we can devise, there will also be a few rousing rounds of heraldic Twister.

 

Directions: From Interstate 25, exit at Wyoming Exit 9, East Lincolnway.  Go east on Lincolnway approximately 1.6 miles to Thomes Ave.  The Eagles Lodge is on the northwest corner of Lincolnway and Thomes.
