The Shire of Windkeep
Welcome to the Shire of Windkeep, the Cheyenne, Wyoming branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism.  We are a not-for-profit, educational organization that seeks to re-enact certain aspects of medieval society.  We also study the various Arts and Sciences of the period and learn to recreate various works from the time period.  We practice two separate forms of martial combat.  One that closely resembles the behourd, or chivalric tourney and a second that emulates late period dueling.  We cover a time span from approximately 400 A.D. to 1600 A.D. and offer activities to please almost everyone interested in the Middle Ages.
